Each card has a collector grade ranging from 7 to 10. The grade provides an in-game multiplier bonus ranging from -0.1 to +0.2.

How to Play

1. Let your journey begin
Congratulations on acquiring Ghosts of Hockey.
It is now time to enter a world of haunted arenas, legendary players, and supernatural mysteries.
Build your lineup, summon powerful spirits, and begin your quest for hockey immortality.
2. Choose your battle
Select one of eight leagues: Original 6, 1967 Expansion, 80s Hockey, Modern Hockey, Swedish League, Finnish League, German League, or Russian League.
Each league features five difficulty levels, introducing new challenges as you climb toward the championship.
Unlock new cards and rewards by winning titles.
3. Analyze your prey
Before every game, study your opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
Review player statistics, recent team news, and matchup information.
You can even discover a unique supernatural fact tied to each city.
4. Let the confrontation begin
Experience a hockey game unlike any other.
Compete through three periods, with overtime deciding the winner if the score remains tied.
Each period contains two offense phases and two defense phases. Select three cards and create the strongest combination possible.
5. Discover powerful combinations
Combine cards to unlock powerful bonuses.
More than 375 unique combos can be discovered, granting additional points and global multiplier bonuses.
Combos are equally important on offense and defense.
6. Reach the milestone
Every team has unique offensive and defensive plateaus to overcome.
Use player abilities, card values, combo bonuses, and ghost effects to reach the required milestone.
Success may result in a goal scored—or a crucial save.
7. Build your playbook
Track every combo you have discovered throughout your journey.
As new combinations are revealed, their names and effects are permanently recorded, helping you plan stronger strategies for future games.
8. Ethereal ammunition
Monitor the remaining cards in your deck and prepare your next move.
You may discard cards three times per period to improve your hand.
At the start of a new game, all cards return to the deck.
9. Chase the championship
Winning a single game is only the beginning.
Depending on the selected league, you must win between 6 and 32 games to capture the championship trophy.
Victories earn pucks that can be spent to strengthen your team.
10. Visit the shop
Spend your hard-earned pucks between games.
Purchase packs containing players, ghosts, coaches, play cards, and chaos cards, or acquire individual cards to address specific weaknesses.
Build the lineup that fits your strategy.
11. Complete your collection
Discover and collect every card in Ghosts of Hockey.
Unlock new assets, improve card grades, and showcase your accomplishments.
